IGNOU Extends Last Date for July 2023 Admissions

IGNOU officially announced this extension on its Twitter account, stating, “The last date for fresh admission for July 2023 cycle for all programs except certificate programs for both online and open and distance learning mode has been extended till September 30, 2023.”

How to Apply

1. Visit the official portal of IGNOU at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in for online courses and ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in for ODL courses.
2. Click on the ‘New Registration’ link on the home page.
3. Fill in the necessary details in the form.
4. Log in using your username and ID.
5. Select the course you wish to apply for and upload all the required documents as directed.
6. Pay the prescribed application fees and submit your application.
7. Download the application form for future reference.

Registration Fees

Candidates applying for the July 2023 session will need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 300 and a university development fee of Rs 200 at the time of admission. It’s important to note that cancellation of admission has specific refund policies:

• If a candidate applies for cancellation of admission within 15 days of application, the program fee will be refunded after deducting Rs 500.
• If cancellation occurs within 16-90 days of confirmation, the refund will be given after deducting Rs 1,000.
• If admission is canceled after 90 days from the date of admission, no refund will be provided.
