The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the August 2023 session. If you appeared for this crucial examination, you can now check your results on the official websites: ctet.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
Earlier, CBSE had released the preliminary answer keys for CTET 2023 on September 15. Candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections to the answer key until September 18. Following a thorough review of these objections, CBSE has finally released the results.
Key Information about CBSE CTET Result 2023
According to the CBSE CTET marking scheme, candidates are awarded one mark for each correct answer. To successfully pass the CTET exam, candidates from the unreserved category need to score a minimum of 60%, which equates to 90 out of 150 marks. On the other hand, candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), and People with Disabilities (PWD) categories must secure a minimum of 55%, which is 82 out of 150 marks.

- On the homepage, click on the “Result” link
- Enter your login credentials
- Your result will be displayed on the screen
- Download and save the result page for future reference
This year, an impressive total of over 29 lakh candidates applied for the CBSE CTET 2023 examination. Among these applicants, approximately 80% appeared for the exam. To break down the numbers further, 15,01,719 candidates registered for paper 1 (which covers classes 1 to 5), while 14,02,184 candidates registered for paper 2 (covering classes 6 to 8).
The 17th edition of the CTET was conducted across 3,121 examination centers spanning 136 cities in India. Remarkably, 80% of the registered candidates participated in the examination. Paper 1 was designed for those aspiring to teach classes 1 to 6, while paper 2 was for candidates aiming to teach classes 6 and above.
