AIIMS NORCET 2023 Stage 1 Results Announced
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) released the results for the NORCET 2023 Stage 1 on September 22. If you participated in the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test Phase 5 Stage I exam, you can now access and download your results by visiting AIIMS’s official website at aiimsexams.ac.in.
Exam Details
The Stage I examination took place on September 17, conducted at various exam centers across the country. This Nursing Officer recruitment exam had a duration of three hours.
Result Format
The AIIMS NORCET Stage 1 result for 2023 is available in PDF format. This document includes candidate roll numbers, categories, and percentiles.
The AIIMS NORCET Phase 5 answer key was previously published on the official website. The Phase 5 result was issued by AIIMS after addressing candidate complaints regarding the provisional answer key.
How to Check AIIMS NORCET 2023 Stage 1 Result
Follow these steps to check your result:
- Visit the AIIMS official website at aiimsexams.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the “AIIMS NORCET 2023 result” link.
- A new PDF file displaying the results will open on your screen.
- Check your result and download the page for future reference.
The official notice regarding the results stated, “Based on performance in Stage-I NORCET and applicable clause on the Pattern and Scheme of Examination…following candidates are declared provisionally qualified to appear in NORCET-5, Stage II, to be held on 7th October 2023.”
It was also mentioned that the amended and updated seat positions, as reported by the appropriate participating institute, are published on the website through various notices and corrigenda/addendums.
Exam Structure
The written exam consisted of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with each question carrying 200 points. Candidates had four options for each question. Out of these, 180 MCQs were related to the subject, and the remaining 20 covered general knowledge and aptitude. Incorrect responses resulted in a penalty of 1/3 mark deduction.
Nursing Officer Positions
The NORCET exam is conducted to fill nursing officer positions at the National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD) in New Delhi. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800, along with a monthly grade pay of Rs 4,600.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a maximum age limit of 30 years. Additionally, candidates must possess either a BSc Nursing degree from the Indian Nursing Council or a Diploma certificate in General Nursing Midwifery from the Indian Nursing Council to be eligible for NORCET 2023.
